Hope that everyone is well. Apologies if I forgot to thank you personally, I tend to lose track of things.
As I'm lying here waiting for my back to heal, I realize that I need to take better care of myself. It's probably time for some weightlifting and calisthenics, anything to get the energy levels back up. All too often I've seen the effects of not enough exercise on other artists, and all the sitting can not be healthy for anyone. So if you're up for it, take a brisk walk a couple of times a week, and if your joints allow, maybe jump some rope. Your elevated energy levels will translate into more productivity, and you'll just feel better about yourself.
I had gotten back into some isometrics right before the injury, because frankly, I'm starting to get a little flabby. As a kid, and a little later in life, I participated in some team sports, baseball, football, and hockey. I see that the fitness level attained while engaging those activities, could be real useful right about now. That kind of fitness would be a boon to any artist.
So, as a citizen of the second most obese nation in the world, I urge you all to do whatever you can to increase your fitness levels. Let's try to be a little more like the superheroes we love to draw and read about. And cut out the refined sugar and salt from our diets, unrefined is better(read about Himalayan and Celtic sea salt). Thanks for taking the time to read this. So ends my public service announcement.
